    An isothermal semitrailer with the volume of 82 m3 has performance characteristics similar to those of isothermal trucks of a smaller size.

      • Semitrailers with standard and large length, width and height (13,6 m, 2,5 m, 2,7 m).

        \nThe basic performance characteristics of semitrailer type are the volume and permissible quantity of pallets.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Suspensions of semitrailers can be spring or pneumatic. Pneumatic suspension guarantees smooth ride comfort, ensuring security of a fragile cargo.<\/p>\n

        The characteristic property of a cargo body of \u201cThermo truck\u201d type is the ability to keep the temperature of loading for a long time (10-20 hours) on condition the exterior temperature ranges from –10 0C to +20 0C.<\/p>\n

        Besides, several models make it possible to provide heating up of the cargo body, thus allowing for keeping the level of interior temperature for a longer period of time and at lower exterior temperatures. Sideboards of cargo body are made from tin-plated foam plastic. Doors of a load box are equipped with multiplexer. Ventilation outlets are provided. Usually the cargo body is equipped with an extra side door to facilitate loading\/ unloading.

        Refrigerated semitrailer is a cargo-carrying semitrailer the inside temperature of which can change from –7C\/ –12\u0421 to 0 \/+10\u0421 irrespective of external temperature. Such property of a cargo body is ensured by the self-contained cooling equipment.
        \nModern cooling equipment has different security levels from emergency temperature changes that ensure the cargoes security. The cooling systems can be fitted with a property of recording the temperature conditions on special \u201cblocks\u201d. The main application of these semitrailers is transportation of perishable freight or cargoes requiring special temperature conditions.
